I moved from the UK to Sweden around a year ago, and I’m learning Swedish 🇸🇪🇪🇺.
I made some popular Minecraft mods around a decade ago ⛏️.

About this website

This site is self-hosted (read the post) using k3s on European providers like Hetzner and BunnyCDN, mostly server-rendered using Java and Helidon, using JTE templates.

Like everybody I'm figuring out how AI tools are best used, or not used. I put a lot of care and thought in to my writing here - the uniqueness and imperfection are important to me - so I don't use AI for that. I do use Claude for some backend and infrastructure work.

Some links on this site might be "affiliate links", where I get account credit for referring new customers. I only use affiliate links for products I think are good. If that changes, I make a point of going back and removing the referral codes.
